The Ambassador Program

We're looking to build an inclusive digital community for young adults, ages 19-22, by creating a platform to share your voice and values through mentorship experiences, content creation roles and so much more. Through our program, you'll be able to participate in meaningful conversations, explore career interests, ask questions and get advice from a supportive network of peers and professionals.

Participation in our program includes two unique and exciting aspects:

Excited to get a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on in the retail industry? We'll be hosting monthly virtual meetings for our participants to connect with mentors and professionals in merchandising. You'll have the opportunity to learn about marketing, social media, design, technology and more.

Participants in The Ambassador Program @ Nordstrom are eligible to receive a $1,000 renewable scholarship at FIDM for up to 4 years with a 3.0 GPA at FIDM and consecutive attendance. Students must also maintain 12 units quarterly to qualify for scholarship renewal and may qualify for more than one scholarship but not to exceed the cost of tuition, books and supplies.

Are you a passionate visual storyteller? Use your skills to support content creation for Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack (website and social channels) in partnership with our Nordstrom Brand Creative and Social partners. Expect regular communication with and mentorship from the Nordstrom Creative and Social teams. Stay tuned for future openings.

Do I need to live near a Nordstrom or Nordstrom Rack store to participate?
No! The Ambassador Program @ Nordstrom is fully digital. Participants from around the United States and Canada are welcome. All you'll need is access to reliable internet and a phone or computer to join meetings and interact with the group.

How old do I need to be to participate in the program?
Ambassador program participants must be between the ages of 19-22.

How long does my membership in the program last?
This program will take place from September 2022 to May 2023, and membership is renewable up to age 22.

Is this a paid opportunity?
Participation in our ambassador program is unpaid; however, content creators will be compensated for their work. Please see the application for additional compensation details.

When will we meet?
Ambassador program participants will meet once a month on Saturdays, and meetings will take place at 10am PT online. Attendance is not mandatory but encouraged. Content creators will meet with Nordstrom teams on a mutually agreed upon cadence.

What's the application process like?
The application should take you about 30 minutes. Be prepared to share a little bit about yourself and what you hope to get out of this program.
